eek .. the blog has been badly neglected... I need to get better at this... sitting at a desk at my customers office in Brisbane.. it's about 32 degrees (c) outside... right next to the Brisbane river... looks sensational .. wish I was sitting out there drinking a nice cold one... mmmmm beer...

I'm on another loooong boring conference call... Went skiing for the weekend and my bits all hurt... I'm sooooo old... it totally sucks.. wish I was still up there to be honest.... lots of skiing to go this year... I'm going to write this here.. not because I'm proud of it... but because If I tell anyone... I sound like a wanker... but I'm never going to be able to say this again... so here goes..

I've skied on 3 continents this year ! ... not only that... I've also skied in 5 countries in about 8 months !... Cool eh ? Switzerland, Italy, USA, Australia and New Zealand... International Skier of Mystery... that's me...

I went and saw the Roo's win on Friday - Went to the beach but didn't swim.. had a blast of a weekend in some ways.. in others... Sydney is OK ... the weather is very nice ... wish I could be outside... spent the whole day on-site with my customer yesterday - a complete waste of time to be honest... I feel like we're just covering the same ground over and over again.... painful... speaking of painful ... two full days of meetings now... Gripe of the day: They've closed part of Victoria Avenue today .. assholes.. the traffic around my office is chronic... I can't believe they do that to a major arterial .. brainless … it took me about 45 minutes to get to the office from the pool this morning.. it should take 10 mins… why the hell don’t they do this sort of stuff in the middle of the night ?

Hmmm well .. what a wet ANZAC day.. rained all day.. what's worse was that I thought it was going to be 28 degrees and put the shorts on ... turned out it was more like 15 and wet... bloody disgusting weather... still.. a day off is a day off... got to take it as it comes I guess... I'm back in Melbourne at my desk on the most boring conference call ever... don't think it will beat last Friday's record of 3.5 hours .. but it'll go close.. Yesterday was one busy mother of a day.. but it's a good thing I made it home.. Running around like a mad thing... mostly sucessful though... probably shouldn't have come home.. but what the hell.. I'm sick of being away... and besides .. Mum's visiting...
